You can also purchase a case for the Kobo which will auto power off the EReader when you close it and power on the device when you open it. This is a great feature for those who have a tendency to walk off or get distracted and then come back your favourite read. They’ve included a number of auto power off features where after a set period of time the device will go to sleep and eventually power off. The Kobo Clara HD as standard will last about 4 weeks on a single charge which is coming to be the norm these days.
